Chris started with OptConnect in 2009, as an ATM repair specialist and worked his way up through the ranks into leadership and management roles. After years of hard work and dedicated leadership, Chris was appointed CEO of OptConnect in October of 2018. His various roles within the company over the years have given him a deep knowledge and experience of the connectivity business while also giving him a unique ability to relate to what each employee is asked to do, what challenges exist, and how to best empower each employee to be successful.
In her role, Christie is responsible for Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Human Resources. Prior to joining OptConnect, Christie was the CFO at SirsiDynix and has held executive and senior leadership positions in the software and technology industries for over ten years. Her 20+ year finance career has involved investment banking, strategic growth, and M&A activity, as well as consulting and leadership roles in corporate finance focusing on financial planning and analysis. Christie received her Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Iowa, and her MBA in finance from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Kevin is responsible for overseeing the entire customer experience at OptConnect that includes Customer Care, Marketing, Operations, and Special Projects. Prior to joining OptConnect, Kevin spent 6 years in management positions within the Larry H. Miller Sports and Entertainment organization and 10 years in marketing management roles in the financial services and consumer goods industries. Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University in Communications with a minor in Business Management and his MBA from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
Steve has been instrumental in all product-related strategies and execution since joining the team in 2012. In his role, Steve owns the entire strategic development for all OptConnect products. Before joining OptConnect in 2012, Garrett was the CIO at Navigator Telecommunications. In his career, he has held CIO positions in both Healthcare and Telecom. With over 40 years of experience in the technology industry, Garrett brings an extensive knowledge of product technology and sales to OptConnect.
In Todd’s current role, he leads the software engineering and network infrastructure teams that deliver our product offerings. He also workes closely with our Chief Product Officer to bring new products to the market. Todd joined OptConnect in 2014 as Vice President of Technologies. Todd has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Utah State University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in Business Management.
In his current role, Wayne oversees business development, new customer acquisition, sales, and account management. Wayne holds a BA in History and an MBA from Portland State University. His previous positions include management roles at Wells Fargo Bank and E*TRADE Financial. Before OptConnect, Wayne was the Founder and President CEO of Solvport, an IT services company based out of Portland, Oregon.
